3rd Generation Family-Owned Business
Chilton, Texas
What We Do
Three companies, one operation
Buying, hauling and grazing under one family name — so cattle move from the sale barn to your pens without changing hands more than they have to.
Thigpen Trucking, Inc.
Livestock Transport
We run our own equipment and drivers, so loads are scheduled, tracked and delivered by people who answer to the same name on the gate.
Thigpen Ranches, Ltd.
Ranching & Grazing
We carry cattle on grass in Central Texas, giving customers flexibility on timing and condition at delivery.
Order Buying
Cattle sourced the way you would source them yourself
Thigpen Livestock Company was founded by Robby Thigpen and is now in its third generation of family ownership. We buy cattle on order from the finest ranches and auction houses across Texas and the surrounding states, matching every load to the weight, quality and delivery window our customers ask for.
Tell us what you need and how many head. We find the cattle, send pictures for your approval, and handle the transaction and haul from there.
